Meet the people using the services – the people whom you may be considering supporting. You’ll find pleasant, caring people who have been faced with difficult situations and who have fallen through the cracks. WKNC gives them a welcoming place where they can relax from the stress of coping with poverty. A place where they can find non-judgemental friendships and encouragement. See information on the locations you can visit here.

Where Your Donations Go

For the many residents in the Weston and Mount Dennis neighbourhoods who are living on or below the poverty line, your support means that they do not have to choose between skipping meals or paying their rent. Our Drop-In provides much-needed community supports for people during a time when they are rebuilding their lives and looking toward a brighter future.

Your money, food, and clothes go directly toward maintaining and expanding our meal programs, community skills development initiatives, housing support, and harm reduction health care for the community.  Unrestricted funds are also used to ensure that our centre is continually being improved, to assist in fundraising to seek further support and to help fund new projects to meet emerging community needs.

For more information view our annual reports here.

Online Donations

Our Online Donations are done through Canada Helps, a well-trusted Canadian online donor tool. Through them, you can donate to WKNC using credit card, or pay pal. You can set up monthly donations that will be taken out of your account at the start of the month, or make one-time gifts to our organization.
